Meet Sophia
MSW, LCSW
Mental Health Therapist
I believe that every person is the expert in their own life. Beginning therapy and finding someone who feels like the right fit can sometimes feel overwhelming. My commitment is to empower you and to walk alongside you through the many ups and downs life may bring. I work with children ages 6 and up, teens, and adults, and I have a particular passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges of growing, developing, and finding their voice. I speak both English and Spanish and specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, challenges with self‑regulation, and attachment or relationship concerns.
My approach creates space for us to work together, taking a thoughtful and intentional look at what is unfolding in your life. I strive to offer a warm, supportive environment where trust can grow. From that foundation, we can explore challenges, build insight, and create a plan that truly reflects your goals. Together, we open the door for meaningful growth and healing.
I provide holistic, trauma‑informed, evidence‑based therapy and draw from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic approaches, Strengths‑Based work, and Trauma‑Focused interventions. It is truly a privilege to be part of your therapeutic journey, and I look forward to supporting you with compassion, respect, and genuine care.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me reading, hiking, camping, or snowboarding. I treasure time with my pitbull Arya, family, and friends, and I’m always on the lookout for delicious food to eat.
